Here is a quote from that article:
“One thing I love to do is sell my art to support ministry. I’m not called to serve overseas, but this is one way I can support those who do!” Over the last several years Didi has hosted art sales at UPC, supporting Stephen Ministry, the Balkan Task Force, the El Salvador Task Force, and others. “I love seeing my artwork being sold to support worthy groups,” she said.
Didi loves witnessing other people’s “aha!” moments. “People come in and say they don’t know anything about art, but they do! I’m not a master, I’m a student myself. Once someone gets into it, they start to see their surroundings through different lenses. Seeing the small things makes one pause and appreciate the beauty around them. Clouds are never the same again. The world takes on artistic qualities—people start to see lines and form where they didn’t before.” This enhanced appreciation isn’t just about painting. It’s about listening to the people we interact with, too.
